Appenzeller Noble Memorial Museum suits an evening of literature expressed through light and music. This museum in Jung-gu, Seoul, hosts “2026 Jeongdong Yeonhoe,” a Jeongdong banquet program. Part 1, “Jeongdong Night,” interprets Kim Sowol’s poem “Azaleas” through media facade projections and musical performances. You can make the performance the focus of your visit, beyond simply exploring the building.

During the event, the museum stays open until 22:00, with last entry at 21:30. Performances start at 20:00 and 20:30 on both days. Each lasts 25 minutes. The museum’s regular visitor information lists general admission as free, with no separate reservation required for individual visitors. PoperaSpecial evening guided tourCraft activities

The music at Korea Territorial Development Museum changes with the day. This venue on Jeongdong-gil in Jung-gu, Seoul, hosts a program themed around listening to autumn. On Friday at 19:30, you can hear popera, a blend of pop and opera. On Saturday at 19:00, an orchestral ensemble performs with commentary from the conductor.

It suits visitors who want to combine exhibitions and performances. Permanent and special exhibitions are free. The event’s venue guide distinguishes closing at 22:00 from last entry at 21:30. Keep these extended event hours separate from the regular 17:30 closing time listed on the museum’s website.

Special evening guided tours start at 19:00 on both days. These require separate advance registration. Saturday’s evening performance and guided tour start at the same time, so it is best not to plan on attending both. Friday also offers a glowing tree lantern craft activity, while Saturday has a Jeongdong-gil scenery craft activity. These are worth considering if you want hands-on activities alongside the performances.

Jungmyeongjeon Hall on Jeongdong-gil in Jung-gu, Seoul, suits visitors interested in historic sites. It was where Emperor Gojong handled state affairs and where the coerced Eulsa Treaty was concluded. On Saturday, you can combine the site’s history with an evening performance.

Saturday’s program has an afternoon magic performance and an evening popera duet. For an evening visit, choose the 18:00 performance themed “Magic Aria II.” The magic show starts at 14:00 that day. Families wanting to see magic with children can focus on the afternoon program, while those interested in singing can plan around the evening performance.

During the event, Jungmyeongjeon Hall stays open until 22:00, with last entry at 21:30. If you want to hear popera, plan around the performance start rather than the building’s closing time.

If you want to hear Friday’s palace concert, plan your entry to Deoksugung Palace first. The opening ceremony and palace concert for Jeongdong Culture Night in Jung-gu, Seoul, take place here. The official venue guide lists Friday’s performance time as 18:30–20:00. It suits an evening that combines a palace visit with a concert.

Deoksugung Palace stays open until 21:00, but admission ends at 20:00. Its last entry is earlier than at the other four venues, so it is harder to leave until late in the evening. If you want to explore the palace, consider visiting it first. If the concert is your priority, enter in time for its start.

General admission is listed as ₩1,000. The Royal Palaces and Tombs Center’s standard admission fee table defines the adult age range for Korean nationals as 25–64. There is also a changing of the royal guard ceremony at 14:00 on Saturday, but that belongs to a separate schedule for anyone visiting only in the evening.
