November schedule
Two weeks of programs run from November 2–15. These are the event's second week, based at Bukhansan, and third week, based at Bugaksan. The base names do not necessarily identify where the hikes take place. Programs also visit other mountains and routes across Seoul.
Activity mix
Reaching a summit may be your goal, or you may want meditation or yoga alongside a hike. Even within the same event, the balance of instruction and walking varies. Your choice depends on whether you want to add a practice to your walk or focus on the mountain trails themselves.
Timing and difficulty
Distinguish afternoon hikes from night hikes that continue into the evening. The difficulty ratings below come from the organizer's five-star scale. They are separate from the Five Scores used for recommendations. A higher number means the organizer classifies the program as more difficult.
Registration status
Registration for all Bukhansan Week programs, including Wontongsa Temple Hike & Rooftop Yoga, was closed when checked on October 31. It is included here for people who have already registered to compare their schedules. The official collection of links includes a general participant application form for Bugaksan Week. Completing it requires a Google login.

It runs on Thursday, November 12, from 12:30–17:00. The organizer rates its difficulty 3 out of 5. It suits those who want both forest walking and meditation.
The activities matter more to this choice than the mountain's name. While Inwangsan focuses on a summit hike, this program includes time for meditation. Five's take: it is an option for those with a weekday afternoon available.

Choose Inwangsan if reaching a summit is your goal. This program combines views of central Seoul with rocky mountain trails. It suits those drawn to climbing a mountain rather than adding yoga or meditation.
It runs on Friday, November 13, from 12:30–16:00. The organizer rates its difficulty 3 out of 5, compared with 4 for the Seoul Forest to Namsan route. Plan for an ascent along rocky mountain trails.
It shares Ansan's difficulty rating, but the purpose differs. Ansan includes meditation; Inwangsan offers a summit hike. For those who want to climb a mountain on Friday afternoon, it offers a different answer from the previous recommendation.

Choose Seoul Forest to Namsan if you want a route connecting two places. You walk mountain trails linking Seoul Forest with Namsan. The organizer describes a hike through ridges and urban scenery.
It runs on Wednesday, November 11, from 12:20–17:10. The organizer rates its difficulty 4 out of 5, higher than the 3 given to Ansan and Inwangsan. The park name alone should not lead you to choose it as a gentle stroll.
The reason to choose this route is the walk between the two places. It suits those more interested in the route itself than in a single mountain summit or meditation. First consider whether you want to spend a longer stretch of the afternoon walking along ridges.
